3,750 students in 2018 selected by MNCs in campus recruitment from CU

About 3750 engineering students have been selected for jobs by more than 240 MNC in 2018 from Chandigarh University (CU) during various campus recruitment camps, a spokesperson of the university said.

“Chandigarh University has established new benchmarks in campus placements for engineering students in placement session 2018-19 as there was a jump of 30% in number of companies thronging campus for recruitments” said Dr RS Bawa, vice-chancellor of Chandigarh University, according the spokesperson.

Big names such as Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T recruited engineering students while a jump of 70% was witnessed in number of offers given this year, he added.
