314% increase in cyberthreats in a week in India

There was a 314% rise in cyberthreats in India in the week leading up to Christmas as per a report by Surfshark Antivirus. India had a threat rate of 24, which is 91% higher than the global average, it found.
The country ranked third, after Portugal and Thailand, in terms of the most cyberthreats received during the week. The most common threats in India have been heuristic and trojan, each accounting for about 30% of the threats found. Europe was the most affected region by cyberthreats since mid-October.
