2G Scam: Delhi HC begins hearing arguments in the appeal by CBI
Delhi High Court on Thursday began hearing the appeal filed by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against the acquittal of A Raja and others in the 2G spectrum allocation case.
Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Sanjay Jain appearing for the probe agency read out the content of chargesheet and facts of the 2G case. He further read out the content of modus operandi of the alleged criminal conspiracy between the officials of the government and private companies for the allocation of licences. He told the court that the licences were granted to certain private companies at first come first serve basis which caused huge loss to the government.
The court will continue hearing the case on 1 November.
