Telecom Workforce

In response to a question raised in the Parliament, the telecom minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on May 11, 2016 provided data related to job creation in the telecom sector in the last three years and the road ahead till 2022. This data shows that in the last three years 2.54 lakh jobs have been created in the telecom sector. This figure includes both direct & indirect jobs.
