On Oct 3, 2018, a joint meeting was conducted by N Sivasailam, special secretary (telecom), several private telecom companies, and the officers of National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL), a wholly owned company of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
