State to get cyber security architecture by December

The State government has sanctioned ₹23 crore to build a Cyber Security Architecture for Tamil Nadu (CSA-TN). The system is expected to be ready by December.

The initiative will entail the creation of a Computer Emergency Response Team for the State, said Santhosh Babu, Secretary, Information Technology Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.

Addressing the media, Dr. Babu said the aim was to have a cyber emergency security response system to protect the government’s digital data. The CSA-TN will be designed by Elcot and C-DAC, in collaboration with several other government and private security agencies, he said.
