Satellite Operations

A ‘Committee for Authorising the Establishment and Operation of Indian Satellite Systems (CAISS)’ under the department of space (DoS) is evaluating two proposals for providing satellite based services in India. One is by Jupiter Satellite India Ltd and the other is from Aniara Communications Pvt Ltd. Both the proposals were rejected earlier as they did not meet the Indian Satellite System (ISS) criteria.
