RailTel

RailTel, a public sector undertaking under the ministry of railways, on December 8, 2014 launched WiFi service at New Delhi Railway Station. The services can be accessed from all the 16 platforms of the station though the signal on the foot-over-bridges is weak. However, no efforts are being made to make the service popular.

To access the services, a user must have mobile number and he should click on the “RailWire” network. The mobile number will become the user-id, and the password will be instantly sent through SMS by RailWire. Using this password, one can login. There will be no charges for the first 30 minutes.
