Lenovo to facilitate market access to Juniper in China

Chinese device maker Lenovo and telecom gear company Juniper Networks Tuesday extended their partnership that will help the latter to distribute its product portfolio in the Chinese market.

This agreement to be effective from Q3, 2016, follows on the global strategic relationship between the two companies signed in March 2016 to deliver next-generation data center infrastructure solutions for enterprise and web-scale customers, the two companies in a joint statement said.

By deepening the existing relationship with the US-based Juniper Networks, Lenovo eyes to build a comprehensive lineup of networking products.

The partnership with Lenovo will help Juniper to bring innovative networking solutions into China’s mid- and large enterprises, cloud customers and service providers.

“Our continuous relationship with Lenovo shows Juniper Networks’ great emphasis and long-term commitment to the China market,” Daniel Hua, Senior Vice President and General Manager, APAC, Juniper Networks said.

Hua further added that the company believes that this new agreement would enable them to drive growth and enhance channel to market in China.

“We will leverage the industry’s most reliable, efficient and capable hardware systems, in addition to our numerous partners, including industry leaders and emerging startups, as well as our strong expertise to provide a new generation of data center solutions,” Fuyao Tong, Senior Vice President of the Lenovo Group and President of Lenovo China said.
