Google Photos rollout Express backup feature for Android users

NEW DELHI: Search engine giant Google has rolled out a new feature for its Google Photos app. The company has introduced the Express backup options for the Android users in the country. The users can locate the express backup option under the Backup settings in the Google Photos app.
As per Google, the Express backup option wants to offer an easy option to consumers so that they can upload photos on Google cloud even with a poor data connection. The Express backup stores the photos in reduced resolution so that the images can be uploaded without a high-speed data connection.
In an official post the company said, “Express provides faster backup at a reduced resolution, making it easier to ensure memories are saved even when you might have poor or infrequent Wi-Fi connectivity.”
