DTH cos ignore TRAI mandate on long-duration packs

Pune: The “pay for what you use” mandate of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) kicks in from February 1. However, direct-to-home (DTH) service providers and cable operators are ignoring the details in the new regime, putting at a disadvantage many of their subscribers who have paid for long-duration plans.
