YouTube app gets HDR support for iPhone 12 series
YouTube has released an update on its iOS-based app. The update version 15.45.2 brings HDR to the iPhone 12 series smartphones, which includes iPhone 11 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The changelog of the YouTube app on Apple’s App Store says that the update brings bug fixes and performance enhancements to the app. “Fixed bugs, improved performance, explored the edges of the known universe,” the changelog says. However, the update also includes HDR support.
YouTube app has featured support for HDR content ever since Apple launched the iPhone X back in 2017. However, the app has required software updates to support newer iPhone models.
