Xiaomi partners Hotstar to provide early access of Bollywood movies to Mi TV users

NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi on Friday said it has partnered with OTT-player Disney+ Hotstar to provide early access of Bollywood movies to consumers across the country under the Multiplex Banner, starting 31 July.

The Multiplex Banner feature will allow Mi TV users to access Bollywood movies two hours prior to the official release (7:30 PM), i.e., at 5:30 PM, Xiaomi said in a press note.

Through this partnership, XIaomi said, it is seeking to provide first-day, first-access to Mi TV-Patchwall users, starting from movie titles like Lootcase, to Laxmmi Bomb, Bhuj: The Pride of India, among others.
