WhatsApp restricts content forwards to one person

NEW DELHI: Messaging app WhatsApp has restricted content forwards to one individual at a time from the previous five persons, aimed to curb fake news amid Coronavirus or Covid-19 outbreak.

In 2014, Facebook acquired WhatsApp for $19 billion.

WhatsApp in a blog post recently said that it was introducing a limit so that the messages can only be forwarded to one chat at a time.
