US and India discuss bilateral collaboration in emerging technology

Laying a new roadmap for bilateral collaboration on Critical and Emerging Technology: Quantum Technologies and Artificial Intelligence for Transforming Lives, the US secretary for the Department of Energy on Tuesday met Union MoS of tech and PMO Jitendra Singh to formally launch a call for proposals in this regard.

The new programme is designed by the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) and the Secretariat for USISTEF. The meeting holds special significance as it follows closely on the heels of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to the United States.
