Unserved areas should get access to satellite communication: Isro’s Sivan

NEW DELHI: The people living in unserved regions should get access to these (satellite communication or SatCom) technologies to ensure inclusive growth, K. Sivan, secretary, Department of Space (DoS) and Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Tuesday said.

“The people living in unserved and under-served places should get access to these technologies in order to ensure inclusive growth,” Sivan said in a message to India SatCom 2020 virtual event organised by the Broadband India Forum (BIF).
