TikTok will now tell you why your video was removed

For all those countries where TikTok is still up and about, here’s news for you. If any of your videos are pulled off, TikTok is going to tell you why it has been pulled off from the platform. At least, vaguely.

So far, TikTok would just tell you that the video had violated ‘community guidelines’ and you were welcome to do what you wished with that information. You could obviously appeal.

TikTok has announced that they will be explaining why the video was removed by stating the exact policy it has violated. This is similar to what other social media platforms do.
