The great ‘Arm’ race: After Apple, Samsung, Amazon looking to invest

A day after it was reported that Apple and Samsung may invest in chip design company Arm, which is expected to get listed on the US Nasdaq stock exchange later this year, a report said that Amazon is in talks to become anchor investor in the company ahead of the IPO.
An anchor investor is a company that purchases a large number of shares in a company at a fixed price before its IPO, helping generate interest and attract other investors.
