Stock market update: IT shares mixed; Infibeam Avenues up 2%

NEW DELHI: IT shares were trading on a mixed note in Friday’s morning session.

Shares of Infibeam Avenues (up 2 per cent) , HCL TechnologiesNSE 0.67 % (up 0.63 per cent) , InfosysNSE 0.58 % (up 0.50 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services (up 0.18 per cent) were the top gainers in the index.

Tata Elxsi (down 1.06 per cent) , Oracle Financial Services Software (down 0.59 per cent) , NIIT Technologies (down 0.33 per cent) and Tech Mahindra (down 0.16 per cent) were trading lower.

The Nifty IT index was trading 0.35 per cent up at 15,637.45 around 10:10 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 30.55 points at 10,952.25 while the BSE Sensex was down 82.10 points at 37,022.18.
