Spirent acquires octoScope to expand WiFi testing capabilities

NEW DELHI: Telecoms testing company Spirent Communications on Monday said it has acquired wireless network test solutions company octoScope to expand WiFi testing capabilities.

octoScope’s test solutions comprise automated Wi-Fi and 5G testing in emulated real-world-like environments, including the latest WiFi 6 and WiFi 6E technologies.

octoScope’s products are used by companies such as Google, Facebook, Verizon, Qualcomm, Nokia, Amazon, Philips and Sony, as well as by CSPs, network infrastructure vendors, etc.
