Soon Twitter will allow you to use hardware security key as the only 2FA option
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is one of the most secure ways to protect personal email or other digital platforms. Lately, many online service providers have started offering security key options, which adds an extra tough layer of barrier against cybercriminals.
Now, popular micro-blogging platform Twitter has announced that it will be releasing a new update that will offer users an additional security key option as the only 2FA option.
“Secure your account (and that alt) with multiple security keys. Now you can enroll and login with more than one physical key on both mobile and web. And coming soon: the option to add and use security keys as your only authentication method, without any other methods turned on,” Twitter said.
