Share market update: Telecom shares mixed; Tejas Networks dips over 2%

NEW DELHI: Telecom shares were trading on a mixed note in Tuesday’s afternoon session.

Shares of Reliance Communications (up 4.59 per cent), Sterlite Technologies (up 4.23 per cent), Tata Communications (up 1.43 per cent) and ITI (up 1.42 per cent) were trading with gains.

Tejas Networks (down 2.79 per cent), Bharti Airtel (down 1.89 per cent), GTPL Hathway (down 1.85 per cent) and Vodafone Idea (down 1.52 per cent) were trading with losses.
