Satcom, telecom industries together need to drive access to voice & data services: IN-SPACe

NEW DELHI: The satellite communications (satcom) and telecom industry should work together to provide basic voice and data services across India, according to a top official of the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Center (IN-SPACe).

“I would urge all the stakeholders including satcom, telecom players, especially startups, policymakers, industry associations to focus on complete accessibility in every square inch of a country and universal affordability of at least basic voice and data to everyone,” said Pawan Goenka, chairman of IN-SPACe.
