Sastasundar.com in talks to raise around $100 million

Kolkata: SastaSundar.com, a digital e-pharmacy startup, is in talks with existing Japanese investors Mitsubishi Corp and Rohto Pharmaceuticals Co, besides other global private equity players to raise around $100 million (Rs 740 crore approx) as part of a Series D funding.

It expects to line up around $25 million in calendar 2021 itself in a bid to build a war chest for expanding its health services across India amid the raging Covid pandemic, a top company executive said.

The company, whose mobile app has seen over two million downloads, will shortly register with the National Health Authority (NHA), even as it prepares to run customised Covid19 vaccination camps at big corporate offices and large housing complexes with partner hospital chains across the country.
