Reliance Jio to provide free internet to startups, says Mukesh Ambani

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani on Monday said that Reliance Jio will help startups by providing free internet services.

“Jio is a startup built in India for India and we have a special place in our hearts for startups. You may know 80% of the cost of running a startup goes towards cloud and connectivity infrastructure,” Ambani said during his 42nd AGM speech on Monday.

Ambani said that the telco will take away the cost by making the cloud infrastructure bundled with connectivity absolutely free for budding startups.
