Nokia 8110 4G gets WhatsApp support

Nokia 8110 4G feature phone has received the support for social-messaging app, WhatsApp. It was announced by the HMD Global in a press release today. The app is available on Nokia Store, a home to KaiOS-powered apps.
It is important to note that Reliance JioPhone and JioPhone 2 too have WhatsApp support. Both feature phones run on KaiOS.
To recall, Nokia 8110 4G phone was announced in October last year. It is an upgraded version of the iconic Nokia 8110 and comes with a price tag of Rs 4,999 and is available at both offline and online stores including Flipkart, Amazon and Nokia website.

Powered by KaiOS, Nokia 8110 features Qualcomm 205 processor. The feature phone packs 512GB RAM and has an inbuilt storage of 4GB. The storage can be expanded further up to 32GB.
