Microsoft to make your incognito browser surfing more secure
Although Google’s Chrome dominates the browser market share, Microsoft’s Edge too is in the game and the company is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to improving the application. This time, the Satya Nadella-led company is working on protecting the privacy of the user even more than before, while browsing in the ‘Incognito’ mode.
As reported by 9to5Google, whatever you type in the incognito mode on Chrome browser in Windows 10, is still passed through the company’s word prediction services. And now, it is working on fixing this from both Chrome and its own Chromium-based Edge browser. This will keep the privacy of users secure to themselves, keeping ‘incognito’ the way it was supposed to be.
For those unaware, whatever you search for in Incognito mode in Chrome app for Android, is secure as keyboard apps like Swiftkey and Gboard clearly mention that they don’t extract information in the Incognito mode.
