‘Made in India’ mobile phone shipments cross 2 billion units mark between 2014-22: Counterpoint

NEW DELHI: ‘Made in India’ mobile phone shipments in the country has crossed the 2 billion mark between 2014-2022, registering a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 23%, under the Centre’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, according to the latest data released by Counterpoint Research Monday.

The growth in shipments, Counterpoint said, was driven by the huge internal demand, increasing digital literacy, and government push.
