‘IT is more in the value camp due to high dividend yields’

NEW DELHI: Market experts believe that, despite structural and short-term changes, India remains strong in the long run. They claimed that forecasting market performance is extremely difficult when a budget and US Federal Reserve policy meeting are on the horizon. Punita Kumar Sinha, Pacific paradigm advisors, shared her wishlist with ET Now.

In general, I would say that if you look at debt to GDP, inflation, and real rates, India is actually looking good compared to the other markets. On valuations, India is looking expensive because it outperformed last year and is trading at a higher premium than historic averages.
