Reliance Jio signalled its intentions about going big with the 5G rollout in India. Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani at the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) announced that around Diwali — sometime in October — the rollout of 5G services will take place in key cities. By 2023, Reliance Jio has an ambitious plan to launch nationwide 5G services. Ambani also spoke about how the company is collaborating with global tech giants for 5G services and more in the country.
