Hey Siri, you may have a problem and it’s called Google Assistant

NEW DELHI: Tech giant Google’s smart voice assistant — Google Assistant is slowly catching up with Amazon’s Alexa and Apple’s Siri. According to a new study by Microsoft, both Apple’s Siri and Google Assistant are at par with each other for their usage.
Both the voice assistants ranked 36% in a white paper which is based on two online surveys. Amazon Alexa takes the second position with 25% share followed by Microsoft Cortana which has 19% share. The study claims that the dominance of Siri and Google Assistant is because of their presence on smartphones. Amazon Alexa on the other hand, is majorly available only on smart speakers.
The growth of Google Assistant to the top position is commendable. The Assistant made its debut in the late 2016 with the launch of company’s chatting app Google Allo.
