Google Pay introduces UPI Lite for small-value transactions

Google Pay on Thursday rolled out UPI Lite, a new feature on its platform that allows users to make small transactions without using a UPI pin.

UPI Lite enables users to make fast payments “even during peak hours with a higher success rate when compared to the conventional UPI payment,” the company said in a statement.
