Global tablet market grew 53% on-year in 1Q21; Apple leads: Counterpoint

NEW DELHI: The global tablet market grew by 53% on-year in Q1 2021 after reaching a five-year high in Q4 2020, according to Counterpoint Research’s latest Global Tablet Market Report. The market, however, declined 22% sequentially due to the quarter being an off-season period.

Last year, the tablet market witnessed revival during the pandemic, growing by 19% on-year due to the increased demand for large-screen devices amid remote work, online education and extended stay-at-home scenario.
