Cisco working with Jio, Airtel to build 5G open network: Anand Bhaskar

NEW DELHI: Cisco Systems, the US-based telecom technology company is bullish on fifth generation (5G) networks, and is working closely with India’s top two telecom carriers – Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel – to build industry-first open network and cloud networking technologies. In an interaction with ETTelecom’s Muntazir Abbas, Anand Bhaskar, Managing Director of Service Provider Business at Cisco India & ASEAN talks on private 5G, use case monetisation, new manufacturing unit in India, skill development programs, and integration of artificial intelligence (AI).
