Verizon to shut down Zoom rival BlueJeans: Report

NEW DELHI: US-based telecom major Verizon Communications is shutting down its videoconferencing service and Zoom rival, BlueJeans, 9to5Google reported.

“We have made the difficult decision to sunset our suite of BlueJeans products,” the report quoted an email received by BlueJeans customers. It added that free Basic plan and free trial offerings will be discontinued on August 31. The report however does not mention how long will BlueJeans’ paid subscribers have access to services.
