Jio launches True 5G services in all states of North East circle

NEW DELHI: Reliance Jio on Friday said it has launched its True 5G services across the six states of the North–East circle by connecting seven cities including Shillong, Imphal, Aizawl, Agartala, Itanagar, Kohima, and Dimapur.

“Such a large rollout that covers every state in the North-East circle is testimony to Jio’s commitment towards the development of the circle,” Jio said in a statement, adding that it aims to expand its 5G services coverage across the country by December 2023.

Jio statement said in the statement that its True 5G services can enable several benefits, such as in the healthcare sector. Jio’s solutions for the healthcare sector underpinned by 5G include the Jio Community Clinic medical kit,
