Telegram Messenger says supporting countries globally to disseminate crucial Covid-19 information

New Delhi: Cloud-based Telegram Messenger today said it is disseminating crucial information regarding the Covid-19 or coronavirus pandemic in an effort to serve the citizens worldwide.

The instant messaging giant said that it has worked with the health ministries and respective governments in various countries.

Telegram said it has enabled dedicated channels which show up as the top results for all coronavirus related keywords to spread factual information and curb fake news circulation,
