Vodafone India introduces Noida’s first free WiFi enabled bus shelter

Vodafone India said that it has turned Noida’s first bus shelter at Sector 18 into a free WiFi hotspot. This WiFi bus shelter will allow customers to get access to complimentary WiFi for 20 minutes per day and this can be availed by users of any telecom networks.

This is the third Vodafone free wifi enabled bus shelter after Huda City Centre and sector 14, Gurugram. Vodafone has also established WiFi hotspot networks across 116 different locations including Dilli Haat, Khan Market, Fortis Hospital (Gurugram) and all Vodafone stores across Delhi-NCR.

“The WiFi initiative is a step towards ‘Digital India’ and creating networked and connected societies that will help citizens get on the digital highways and stay connected for good. This WiFi service at the bus shelter can be availed by all mobile users irrespective of their network provider,” said Alok Verma, Business Head, Vodafone Delhi-NCR.

Vodafone postpaid users would be able to access 10 GB free WiFi data at these locations, while prepaid users will get 1GB WiFi data on 3G/4G data packs.
