SoftAge looks to hire 700 employees for India operations

Document management solution provider SoftAge Information Technology will be adding around 700 employees to their India operations.

The company currently has a workforce of nearly 7,000 employees and serves all the major e-wallet providers in India.

“Demonetisation may be a challenge for many, but for us it’s an opportunity to grow and expand. The surge in number of users for e-wallet and other financial service providers holds the key for us to grow and create nearly 10% of new employment opportunities within the organisation,” Ozair Yasin, MD of SoftAge Information Technology, told ET.

The company, which specializes in document digitisation, is getting volumes of documents to be digitized in the form of KYC forms, Aadhar cards, driving licenses, PAN cards, passports, etc.

The company is looking to hire at various levels and the process has already begun. Almost 20% of the new hires will be for the middle and senior management levels, and rest will be for the junior to ground-level workforce. The majority of the new employees will be based out of the Gurugram office.

SoftAge helps businesses digitise their operations, providing critical support services in the space of document management. The company has provided services to non-financial institutions, banks, insurance, publishing, hospitality, government, IT and telecom sectors, helping clients transition to a smoother, more efficient document management process.
