Sharma stays as Trai chief

A day before his three year tenure was to end, the Modi government has given Ram Sewak Sharma, Trai’s chairman, a two-year extension. Consumers can rejoice. After all they had bad experiences with Rahul Khullar, predecessor of Mr Sharma, who batted all along for the troika – Airtel, Idea & Vodafone.
