Poor Wi-Fi connectivity? Google Photo’s new feature ensures it doesn’t affect your back-up

Google Photos, that till now offered two backup options: Original Quality and High Quality, has introduced a new option called ‘Express backup’, specifically keeping in mind its user-base in India.

The feature provides faster backup at a reduced resolution, making it easier to ensure pictures are saved even in case of poor or infrequent WiFi connectivity.

Google began offering the feature in December to a limited number of Android phones in India, but now the tech giant is now rolling it out to all Android users with the latest version of Google Photos by the end of the week.
