OSP Registration

Trai has come out with a consultation paper titled as “Review of terms and conditions for registration of Other Service Providers (OSPs)”.

An OSP is a company providing Application Services wherein “Applications Services” mean providing services like tele-banking, tele-medicine, tele-education, tele-trading, e-commerce, call centre, network operation centre and other IT Enabled Services by using telecom resources provided by authorized telecom service providers.
