Oppo A5, Oppo A7 get a price cut of up to Rs 2,000

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has announced a price cut for two of its smartphones — Oppo A5 and Oppo A7. Starting March 20, the Oppo A5 will be available at a starting price of Rs 11,990 and the 4GB RAM variant of the Oppo A7 will now sell at Rs 15,990.
To recall, the Oppo A7 4GB RAM variant was launched in India last year with a price tag of Rs 16,990, whereas the Oppo A5 was previously available at Rs 13,990.
Oppo A7 specifications
The Oppo A7 features a 6.2-inch HD+ display with 720×1520 pixel resolution. The display comes with waterdrop notch and has the screen-to-body ratio up to 88.3%. The screen is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor.
