New TRAI rules: DTH players to offer customised best fit plans

NEW DELHI: Confused about how to select TV channels after new regulations by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) made it must to choose 100 channels in a base pack of ₹130? The market regulator has now instructed all DTH and cable TV service providers to offer best fit plans to all subscribers.

Customised according to a household’s TV viewing pattern and languages spoken, the best fit plan may soon become your default plan till the time you exercise a choice.
