Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), at the AGM meet of the company on September 1, 2016 announced the launch of 4G telecom services by Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. He announced, “No Jio customer will ever have to pay for voice calls again.”
