Idea Cellular offers cashback on iVoomi i1 and i1s smartphones

Idea Cellular, has announced a cashback offer of Rs. 1,500 for customers purchasing the new iVoomi i1 and i1s smartphones.

According to the operator, the iVoomi i1 and i1s 4G smartphones priced at Rs. 5,999 and Rs. 7,499, respectively, will be available to Idea customers for an effective price of Rs. 4,499 and 5,999 over a period of two years.

Recently both Bharti Airtel and Vodafone had offered cashback on select Samsung 4G smartphones.

“Availability of good quality devices at affordable price points is key to the uptake of 4G in India,” said Sashi Shankar, Chief Marketing Officer, Idea Cellular.

Under the special offer, Idea customers will get a total cashback of Rs. 1,500 – Rs. 300 in the first 12 months and Rs. 1,200 in the next 12 months – on the purchase of new iVoomi smartphone range,available exclusively on Flipkart, starting 10th January, 2018, said the telco in its statement.

Subscribers will need to do a minimum recharge of Rs. 199 per month for the first 12 months and the cumulative recharge value should be atleast Rs. 2,500 to get cashback of Rs. 300 for the first 12 months.

Over the next 13 to 24 months, customer needs to recharge with a minimum of Rs. 199 per month with a cumulative recharge value of Rs. 2,500 for 12 months, to get the remaining cashback of Rs. 1,200.
