How Airtel’s new Rs 248 prepaid plan compares to similar plans from Vodafone and Reliance Jio

NEW DELHI: Country’s leading telecom operator Airtel has rolled out a new prepaid plan for the first and second time recharge subscribers. The new plan of Rs 248 introduced by the company will be available for the users who are recharging their Airtel number for the first or second time.
As reported by Telecom Talk, the new plan of Rs 248 has replaced the old prepaid plan of Rs 229. Under this new plan, the telecom operator is offering unlimited local and STD calling with 100 SMS each day. Along with this, the Airtel users will also get 1.4GB of data daily as part of the plan. This new recharge plan comes with the validity of 28 days.
Along with the Rs 229 plan, Airtel has also discontinued the Rs 345 and Rs 559 plans. Both these plans were also available to the first time recharge users. Apart from the newly launched Rs 248 plan, Airtel also offer plans of Rs 76, Rs 178 and Rs 495 as part of the first recharge plans.
