Govt creating hurdles for BSNL growth, say employees

Aurangabad: Employees, who joined the three-day national strike, said that the government was creating innumerable hurdles in each and every business proposal of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, practically interfering with the day-to-day affairs of the company.

During a gate meeting in front of the BSNL office on Tuesday, employees claimed that this anti-BSNL attitude of the government had compelled the employees to launch various agitations.

R G Dani, a senior BSNL employees’ union leader, said that it was pointed out during meetings of All Unions and Associations of BSNL (AUAB), the minister of state for communication in February and December 2018 that the government should settle the issues and demands in a time bound manner
