Google Stadia launched at GDC 2019: Cloud gaming service, Stadia controller & everything we know so far

Google, as expected, has made a big entry in the gaming industry with the launch of ‘Stadia’, a cloud gaming platform that is supposed to give users ‘instant access’ to game titles on different devices including TV, laptop, desktop, tablet or mobile phones. With this, the search giant will compete with the likes of Tencent, Sony and Microsoft, which are already big in the cloud gaming segment. Google Stadia was introduced by CEO Sundar Pichai at the GDC 2019 keynote event. Here is everything we know about the new gaming service.
-Google Stadia aims to bring 4K resolution games to devices running at 60 frames per second with HDR. The company also wants to bring this viewing experience in conjunction with better surround sound audio.
-The new cloud gaming service will be made available in select countries at first. It might come to other regions in the coming months. The first set of countries that will get Stadia are US, Canada, UK and some parts of Europe.
