Google search app may soon get optional ‘Dark Mode’, Face Match training and these other features

Looks like the Google app on your smartphone will soon be getting the ‘Dark Mode’ along with some other features. These have been discovered by 9to5Google from the APK file of the latest Google app. The app version 9.66, in addition to Dark Mode, is also said to bring Face Match training, and ‘Intelligent tips’ for ‘At a Glance’ widget.
The ‘At a Glance’ widget’s new ‘Intelligent tips’ feature will be ‘Assistant powered’. As for the Dark Mode, several strings of codes have indicated its arrival. Also mentioned is that the feature will be optional and can be accessed from the General Settings menu. You will also get options including ‘Follow system setting’ or ‘Never’. It is not for sure what all parts will be getting the Dark Mode. Dark Mode also makes sense given that the search giant already has given the particular mode to some of its important apps such as Messenger, YouTube among others.
